Balmain Regatta a huge success

One of Sydneyâ"™s oldest sporting events, the Balmain Regatta, was first held in 1849 and continued until 1934 when it was unfortunately discontinued. In 1994, it was brought back by the Wooden Boat Association and hosted at the Balmain Sailing Club as a part of its Spring Series. The event has a lengthy history on our waterways. ... [
